The 2021-2022 school year will be my second year as a Marlow Outlaw. I teach elementary general music.
I began my teaching career as an Outlaw.
Prior to graduating college, I student taught at Pioneer Public School and Alex High School. I have also served as a student conductor for the Science and Arts Concert Choir and Concert Band.
In December of 2020 I got engaged to my longtime best friend, Aaron. Wedding date pending. ;)
For the last year, my sister, Leslie, has been my roommate. She will be leaving me soon to attend college at Science and Arts.
I don’t have pets, but I do have a plant in my classroom. Does that count?
When I’m not teaching at school, I teach piano lessons and high school Sunday School, as well as directing the choir at First Baptist Church of Chickasha. I enjoy watching musicals, crocheting, and reading Jane Austen books.
