About Julie Turner

2019-2020

Each year transcends the last with pride and thankfulness of being an Outlaw! I absolutely love this school, the people I work with and for, and most importantly the students I get to be around each day! Is everyday and everything perfect? Absolutely not, that would be unrealistic and super boring. However, I consider myself blessed to be at a place where I get to teach and coach so many amazing young people and work with and learn from so many colleagues and co-workers.

2018-2019

Evolution is simply change over time… So yes I believe in evolution and hope that I continue to EVOLVE in every aspect of my life. I’m looking forward to this school year and all the challenges along the way! Blessed to be an OUTLAW!!!

2017-2018

The only thing that stays the same, is everything changes. Last year I was moved to the Middle School to teach 8th Grade Science. Oh what a change, but one that I have enjoyed. This got me out of my comfort zone, but opened new doors.  Now I’m teaching a much broader spectrum of science to a younger group of students.  However, I am loving what I do, and more importantly, I love the lives I have been blessed to be around. I will forever be changed, and will be more open to change!

2011-2012

It's amazing how so much can change in such a little amount of time. Over the summer we were blessed with a healthy baby boy; Blayne Maverick Turner, weighing in at 8.69lbs.  Not only has the size of our family changed, but so has some of my priorities. I will not be coaching this year, but have tremendously enjoyed the opportunity to be able to in the previous years. I am looking forward to a wonderful year teaching and supporting you Outlaws from the sideline!

Same person, different name.

Just to clear up any confusion, I got married over the summer-hence the difference in names on the scheduling this year. This is my 4th year teaching and coaching at Marlow High School, but my 7th year in education. Before coming to Marlow I taught/coached at Ninnekah and lived in Rush Springs. I grew up in Marlow and graduated from here, so it's great to be home.

Once an Outlaw, Always an Outlaw!
