High School Announcements

                ANNOUNCEMENTS  4/26/17

  • Congratulations to the Outlaw Student of the Week, Hannah Scarbrough.  She will represent MHS at Lion’s Club today.

     

  • Congrats to the Lady Outlaw Golf Team. Regional Champs!!!!!! State Bound next Wednesday and Thursday. Way to to go Outlaws!!!! Alli Riddle 84. Mia Meshell 87. Both finishing in Top 10!!

     

  • Any FFA member currently in the 9th through 11th grade wishing to run for an FFA office must pick up a packet in the high school office. The interview will be this Sunday with the time still to be determined and the application is due TOMORROW.

     

  • Seniors – The Sandy Walker Memorial/Marlow Youth Council Scholarship application is available.  Deadline is Friday, April 28th

     

  • The Miss Marlow Pageant is this Friday at 7:30 in the auditorium.  Emily Anderson has tickets for $7 for anyone interested.  If tickets are not purchased in advanced, you will have to sit in the balcony. 

     

  • Time is running out to purchase your 2017 yearbook. See Ms. Cramton in room 106, any yearbook staff member, or you can order online at jostensyearbooks.com

     

  • A sign-up sheet for the Summer Session of Driver’s Ed class is in the office.  The cost is $125 due on the first day of class which is June 1st

     

  • Seniors – If you are 18 years of age and are interested in applying for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Joint Apprenticeship Training Program, stop by the office and pick up an information sheet on how to apply.

     

  • Students will not be able to charge breakfast or lunch after Friday, April 28th.  All past charges are due now.

     

  • All library books are due to be turned back in the library by Thursday, May 4th.  No new books will be checked out to students after this date.  The library will remain open for all other purposes.  Your help in insuring students comply with this deadline will be much appreciated!

     

  • The City of Marlow is accepting applications for lifeguards for this summer.  You must be 16 year’s of age by June 1st and have your lifeguard certification to beginning work. Applications are located at 119 S. 2nd street and must be returned by May 8th.  Call (580)658-5401 for details.

     

  • Applications for volunteers for the Garland Smith Public Library Summer Reading program are in the office.  Applications are due back to the public library by May 12th.

  • Please check your email for lists of StuCo members and Zoology students excused today.
  • Activity Sponsors – Turn in your fundraiser summary and activity fund sub-account ASAP.
